CAMS counselors

As School Counselors, we offer a broad spectrum of services to our students,  parents, and teachers.  We do everything we can to help students succeed and achieve their personal and academic goals.  This may included small group counseling, individual solution-focused counseling and intervention, conflict resolution, testing coordination, and student enrollment.  Our goal is to help each student be the very best he/she can be.  Anything that can affect a student’s success is our primary concern.

 

At CAMS, we also help identify students for the Duke Talent Search program, plan a Career Day, plan and execute state testing, sit in on IEP meetings, and work with students that are having academic, social/emotional, and career questions. We plan and administer the PSAT 8/9, and see students from self-referrals or teacher/principal, or parent referrals.

 

Our licenses do not allow us to do therapeutic counseling, but we have resources available to help you in your decision making for outside counseling.
